To end the month of May, our Sales Team attended the annual 3-day Pittard Real Estate Training held at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park. Over 100 real estate agents across Australia gathered together to learn from talented trainers in the industry including Gary Pittard, Peter O'Malley, Andrew Trim and Adam Horth. The intense 3-day training program covered aspects of personal development as well as modern-day marketing and negotiation skills, all of which are a necessity in a volatile and competitive industry. The top trainers delved into topics of goal-setting with a compelling 'why' and developing a clear strategic plan on how to become peak performing salespeople who are driven to bring value and high level of client care to serve home buyers and sellers in need of help. Concluding the training was Peter O'Malley who uncovered the truth behind real estate agents and exorbitant premiere advertising that is costing many home sellers thousands of advertising dollars. The team learned how to provide home sellers an alternative effective selling and marketing solution that is risk-free, a useful knowledge we certainly look forward to passing onto our clients.
Thomas Som, Managing Director, strongly believes in investing time on training and development. So much so that apart from attending regular training sessions and real estate conferences, the team also gather together and dedicate 2.5 hours every Friday to hone their craft in presentation and negotiation. They are also encouraged and rewarded for spending at least one hour a day to learn a new skill, read a positive book or listen to stimulating podcasts. Learning is deeply emedded in the team culture. This in itself is a major point of differentiation amongst the rest of the agents in our service area.
